Who are we as Episcopal Church Women in Diocese of Western North Carolina?

Every woman in the Episcopal Church is a member of the ECW by virtue of church membership. We are women of all ages, ethnic origins, and socioeconomic backgrounds.



Purpose of the Epsicopal Church Women in Western North Carolina - 

The purpose of this organization shall be to unite the women of the Diocese in a program of worship, study, service, and fellowship which will deepen and strengthen their own spiritual lies and lead them into service for the Church in the parish, community, diocese, nation and world.


Meet Janice "Jan" Scarborough who is the new (CPC) Church Periodical Club Director for the Episcopal Church Women Diocese of Western North Carolina.

Jan is a member of Church of the Ascension Episcopal in Hickory. Current Church Hospitality Chair and on Welcoming committee. Served as a Lay Eucharist Minister. Member of Ascension since 1984. Read more about Jan. download resume
