Foothills Deanery - The purpose of a Deanery is to improve communications and to provide more opportunities for mutual support and planning. Deanery normally meets twice a year or more for worship, study and fellowship. Each Deanery Chair serves on the ECW Diocesan Board. She plans deanery meetings and special projects.  Joan is a retired registered nurse; member of the Grace Church, Morganton; member of the altar guild; lay reader and leader of the Lay Eucharistic Ministers; Chair of theCaregivers/Committee on Aging; past ECW president of Grace; member of the Advisory committee of the Grace Church Foundation. She has beeon on the Diocesan ECW Board for 11 years, past Diocesan ECW president and now Co-Chair of the Foothills Deanery ECW. Formerly on the Diocesan Commission on Aging. Past regent of the Quaker Meadows Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Morganton.


Mary, is a retired registered nurse; long time member of the Grace Church. She is president of the Grace ECW and does the decorating for all luncheon meetings; member of the Altar Guild; member of the Caregivers/Committee on Aging. She is past president of the Grace Hospital Nurses Alumni Association and is presently Social Chair. On the Diocesan ECW Board as Co-Chair of the Foothills Deanery ECW.
